Sometimes, life can feel so lonely. That's why it's good to have friends who support you and pick you up when you fall. Some friends experienced the same things as you do, though most of the time you probably won't realize it, and they can understand what you are going through. Some friends are even better -- they share common interests with you and together, it is possible to explore these interests. When you have friends who does all these, then life suddenly does not seem lonely anymore. Though friends will part inevitably (another unfortunate part of the journey through life), but to have these ppl whom you can call them friends even for a period of time is already a blessing.
I can proudly say that I have friends who keeps me company thorugh fun and though times. I have friends who I confide in, I have friends who share common interests with me (be it dancing, singing, playing games, reading, whatever), and I have friends whom I can have fun with. Not many people can truly claim these, and I feel lucky and proud to be able to say this.
Sometimes, the world is revolving around us too fast that we often feel that we are being left behind, especially since life in JC can get hectic and crazy. But before we give up hope on catching up completely, we must remember that we have come thus far and we can still go on.
I saw this tag on Karlton's shirt before and it says: "Life is not a job". How corect it is. Sometimes we feel that we are born into a world that expects us to bow and adhere to the social norm and expectations that we forget to be ourselves. Sometimes, we need to be ourselves. When the world seems to crumble down on us, we must fight back, and together with friends, it becomes easier.
That's why I feel that this song by Westlife is so meaningful and empowering. It's (aptly) titled "Us Against The World". Westlife is coming back with more good songs to listen to. Anyway, here's the video and lyrics:
